(Download and install Google Earth)
1. Right click on My Places in Google Earth
2. Add a Network Link
3. Title the Network Link "SHAVE reports"
4. In the link box put: http://ewp.nssl.noaa.gov/projects/shave/data/shave.kml
or http://ewp.nssl.noaa.gov/projects/shave/data/shavenosvr.kml for only non-severe reports
or http://ewp.nssl.noaa.gov/projects/shave/data/shavesvr.kml for severe reports
5. Click OK
6. Right click the newly created network link in My Places
7. Click the Refresh tab and under the Time-Based Refresh, select Periodically and set the refresh time to 5 mins
8. Click OK and enjoy your realtime feed of SHAVE data!
